Brazilian Highlights presents:
Auction with Bossa Nova Afternoon
Sunday, 27th of September, you are invited to a Brazilian Day in Amsterdam, starting at 4 p.m. at Café Ysbreker (Weesperzijde, 23). The event is an edition of the Brazilian Highlights, in which the work of talented artists is brought into light.
The Auction with Bossa Nova afternoon will be dedicated to raising funds for the projects of A Hora do Brasil foundation.

The afternoon consists of an auction of pieces of art by renowned artists, curious objects and will culminate in a Bossa Nova concert by Carlos Alberto Asfora (voice), Kees Gelderblom (guitar) and Remco de Landmeter (flute).

All the artwork, the show and the auction were gently donated (fully or partially, at cost price) by the artists and friends of the Brazilian culture in the Netherlands.
We would like to thank everybody who has contributed for this event to happen!
In fact, we have plenty of reasons to celebrate:
August 2009 marks the fourth year anniversary of A Hora do Brasil and our event will be the last one presented at De Ysbreker theatre, the place our foundation was born.
De Ysbreker theatre will soon be closing doors to extend the café area, so come and spend a nice and fun afternoon with us in this terrific location!
